An (Almost) 52 Week Project

"Sometimes you have to look back to see how far you've come"

At the beginning of the year I set myself a target of doing a 52 week project, using a weekly Twitter competition* as a catalyst for making sure I do something each week. Alas, I only managed 45 in total - sometimes life and work simply got in the way.

I tried to use the challenge to explore a few different techniques, and looking back, I can see how some ideas were born during the process and have evolved quite a long way since.

* Wex Photographic run a weekly Twitter competition, #wexmondays. Every week there was amazing photography on display, and Neil Burnell was a deserving winner with consistently inspiring shots each week. I didn't do as well as hoped, with a single shortlist and zero points.

I won't be entering the weeklies so much in 2017, as I focus on some long term projects and other personal objectives. I wish everyone the best for 2017, and thank you for all the support in 2016 :)

"Dont' look back, you're not going that way!"
